A deep breath of beautiful Chianti

The Chianti Hills are one of the most fascinating natural spectacles you can experience: more than twenty kilometres of gentle slopes and vineyards between Siena, Florence and Arezzo.

Along the Chiantigiana you can cross small rural towns, catles and charming farms with
medieval flavor. In the southern part of the route we find an area of important archaeological
finds (kept in the Etruscan Museum) and the Hypogeum of Monte Calvario (an imposing
Etruscan tomb), while in the northern part runs the Chianti Train (steam train of 1891) where you
can visit the beautiful Botanical Park of Chianti (divided into flowering plants, woods, aromatic
plants, fig varieties).
Among wineries, farms and wine shops you can touch and savor at every step the legendary
history of a world famous wine tradition.

A world on human scale!

Vineyards, olive trees, roads and brooms: life here takes on an almost mystical dimension.

Far from the hectic pace of the city, almost suspended in time – considering the traces still so present of the medieval past of every small urban center – our gaze becomes clearer and the breath deeper.

By bike or with a Vespa Piaggio, walk these hills with some imperative stop to taste the local food and wine specialties, on the renowned Wine, Oil and Flavours Road… don’t you feel like living in a movie?

Art and culture naturally integrated

The Chianti Sculpture Park is a permanent exhibition of contemporary installations and sculptures created to integrate perfectly into that natural context.

In the amphitheater you can attend concert programs throughout the summer, an opportunity to attend a multidisciplinary art show that celebrates the union between man and the environment that houses it.

Only one step away Florence and Siena

The cradle of the Renaissance, Florence, can welcome you in every season filling you with wonder: the art of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Dante you can touch them with your hands at every corner.

Siena, with its history and its architecture, with the beneficial waters of its thermal baths, and the picturesque events (one of them is the much loved Palio di Siena) that celebrate the conviviality and the encounter between those who live in there and those who pass through it only for a few hours.

Another not-to-be-missed is the Via Francigena, declared by the Council of Europe “a great cultural itinerary”? Five essential stages: San Gimignano – Monteriggioni – Monteroni d’Arbia – San Quirico d’Orcia – Radicofani. What a show!
